‘Fashions on the Field’ is a highlight of the day, offering an array of quality prizes and prestige to the glamorous colts, and fillies participate. Fashions on the Field will be back trackside this year with 7 fabulous categories:
Best Dressed Lady (18 and over)
Best Dressed Man (18 and over)
Best Dressed Couple (18 and over)
Best Dressed Junior - Boy & Girl (12 and under)
Golden Oldies - Male & Female (60 and over)
Best Accessory (All ages)
Our 2023 judging panel is still to be confirmed so please keep an eye on our socials for who they will be!

2023 Judging Criteria
Lady of the Day
Entrants should dress with the spring racing season in mind.
Appropriate headwear for the spring season is essential.
The entire outfit must be complementary and fit together - bag, shoes, jewellery and headwear.
Elements of their outfit should reflect current trends.
Entrants will be judged on how they carry themselves while on stage.
Hair and makeup will also be assessed by judges.
Best Dressed Man
Men’s accessories should be considered (although not essential).
Elements of their outfit should reflect current trends without losing the entrant’s personal flair.
Entrants will be judged according to not only their outfit, but also the way they carry themselves on stage.
Best Dressed Couple
Men's outfits should include a suit or jacket and tie.
Women's must include headwear and complementary seasonally suitable accessories.
Both outfits should reflect current fashion trends and be suitable for the season and the weather on the day.
Best Dressed Junior - Boy & Girl
Jr entrants will be assessed on their style and taste for Spring racing.
Golden Oldies - Male & Female
The overall picture must be considered in the judging – bag, shoes, jewellery and headwear.
The entire outfit must be complementary and fit together.
Best Accessory
Most creative and eye popping accessory (bag, headpiece, shoes, tie etc).
Elements of their outfit should reflect current trends without losing the entrant’s personal flair.
